A Tribute to the Queen Elizabeth II
Julius Salik:
I, Julius Salik, Convener World Minorities Alliance welcome you to this website: The Queen of Democracy.
Britain is considered the motherland of democracy and the Queen is the head of the State. The democracy in Britain started long ago (for further information, please visit: royal.gov.uk). British democracy is a very good example in the modern world. In this country, 13 minority members [9 Muslims and 4 Hindu and Sikh] have been elected after getting direct votes from indigenous and majority communities. These members got success from such communities where there is very little minority population. No doubt, this is the real beauty of British democracy that mainstream political parties, issued party tickets to their minority members and all majority and minority members took equal part in campaigning for these minority candidates. Therefore, these minority candidates honored with crown of success. Furthermore, the ruling party has elected a minority Muslim woman as their chairperson. ‘You cannot find such luminous example of equality, and democracy; Democracy of England, headed by the Queen Elizabeth II.
A worldwide portrait painting competition was held as a tribute to the Queen Elizabeth II; since Britain is the oldest democracy in the World and the Queen is the custodian of this democracy as well as the Church of England. She is a living epitome of democracy in the true sense of the word; consequently competition’s title will be “The Queen of Democracy Portrait Contest”.
The competition was based on portraits of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. The artistic work will be judged by the profound art critics and gallery owners from London. Top ten artists will be awarded “Queen of Democracy Award”.
